Welcome to ByteVerse ("Platform"), operated by SpectraVerse Technologies Inc. These Terms govern your access to and use of ByteVerse.

By using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.

1. Platform Overview

ByteVerse is a digital platform that facilitates verified human interactions between brands and real users for marketing and engagement purposes.

All interactions on the platform are performed by real users under verification systems. No automated or artificial engagement systems are used.

2. Account Eligibility

To use ByteVerse, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Be at least 18 years old (or legal working age in your region)
• Reside in a supported African country
• Comply with all applicable laws and third-party platform policies

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities under it.

3. Task Completion Rules

All tasks must be completed strictly according to instructions.

• Tasks are time-controlled based on your user plan
• Submissions are subject to verification (manual + automated systems)
• Fraudulent or manipulated submissions are strictly prohibited
• Repeated fraud attempts may result in suspension or permanent ban
• Earnings from invalid activity may be withheld

Users must engage honestly and in good faith at all times.

4. Campaigns

Campaigns run until completion of set targets. Campaign creators must ensure compliance with:

• All applicable laws and regulations
• Advertising standards and guidelines
• Third-party platform rules (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

ByteVerse may reject or pause campaigns that violate policy or risk platform integrity. Campaign performance may vary and is not guaranteed.

5. Payments & Earnings

For Users

• Earnings are processed after verification
• Withdrawal timelines may vary (typically 24–72 hours)
• Minimum withdrawal thresholds apply
• Users are responsible for any applicable taxes on earnings

ByteCoin (BY₵) Rewards

• Used for internal rewards and redemption (e.g. airtime/data via authorized partners)
• 500 BY₵ = ₦350 when converted/redeemed
• Expire after 30 days of account inactivity
• Not a legal currency — cannot be withdrawn directly as cash
• Hold no monetary value outside the ByteVerse platform

Referral Rewards

• Rewards are granted once referred users complete required verified tasks
• Referrer receives: ₦100 + 10 BY₵ upon friend's 3rd approved task
• Referred user receives: ₦30 + 5 BY₵
• Rewards are one-time per referred user
• Fraudulent referrals will be disqualified

For Brands & Campaign Creators

• Payments processed via Paystack (PCI DSS compliant)
• A 5% service/processing fee applies to each campaign
• Funds are held in escrow until task verification is complete
• Campaign fees are non-refundable once tasks begin distribution

6. Fees & Plans

• Each plan upgrade includes a 5% service/processing fee
• Plan benefits may vary and can be updated with reasonable notice
• All pricing is transparent before campaign launch or plan purchase
• Upgraded plans include additional campaign slots, higher earning rates, and exclusive features

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Create fake or multiple accounts
• Use bots, scripts, or any automation tools
• Submit false or manipulated proof of task completion
• Attempt to exploit or bypass system rules
• Share confidential campaign information
• Violate third-party platform policies
• Engage in illegal, harmful, or abusive activities
• Reverse engineer or interfere with platform systems
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the platform

8. Account Termination

Accounts may be suspended or terminated if:

• These Terms are violated
• Fraud or abuse is detected
• System integrity is compromised
• The account remains inactive for more than 6 consecutive months
• Required information is falsified

Upon termination, access is revoked and pending rewards may be withheld where violations exist. ByteCoins expire immediately. You may not create new accounts without written permission.

9. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• ByteVerse is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• We do not guarantee specific results, outcomes, or earnings
• We are not responsible for third-party platform actions or policy changes
• Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months or $100 USD, whichever is lower

ByteVerse is also not liable for delays or failures resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or internet service failures.

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of ByteVerse is governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect only the data necessary to:

• Operate the platform and user accounts
• Verify user activity and task submissions
• Process payments and earnings
• Improve system performance and security

We do not sell personal data. By using ByteVerse, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications

ByteVerse may update features, pricing, or services at any time with reasonable notice (typically 30 days for material changes). We will notify users via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the platform and may delete your account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, unless restricted by local law. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
